Notes from Friday

- Week 2 Notes -

 So when we all decided on Google Translate as our group App of choice we got some notes down which are as followed.


Team Tasks: Google Translate

1. What's good about this app?
Answer -
Convenience for overseas travel.
Easy to explore and learn foreign languages.
Breaks down the language barrier.
It's free (lol Jason)
The app is constantly updating to better itself.
Efficiency.

2. What type of app is it?
Answer -
It's a communications App.

3. Who gets it (downloads it) and why?
Answer -
Anyone with a computer device with Internet access can use it for the use of a language translator.

4. What could be improved in this app?
Answer -
Better localisation and dialect options/tweaks.
Ability to understand the users voice patterns.
Friendly face interface.
Mouth monitor.
Sign language translator
Cache storage for particular languages so the user does not need to be connected to the Internet.

I believe Jason volunteered to make our first speech of the semester, so if he has any questions about any of the answers, he can put them in the comments section of this post.
